At companies like Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Wieden + Kennedy and The Martin Agency, he’s gained experience in nearly every vertical from tech to CPG and telco to media & entertainment (and everything in between). In his role as an agency leader, he’s built integrated marketing programs for blue chip brands like Google, ESPN and Oreo. Brand and Corporate Positioning for a host of start-ups and challenger brands. He is currently leveraging his advertising and marketing experience to help develop an Executive Master’s and Professional Development program at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Brandcenter.

Atikem is a senior marketing and business development executive. Atikem led the creation and implementation of successful projects in USA, the Middle East and Europe that generated over $20 million in new sales. At Ignis, Atikem co-wrote the business plan, and assisted in raising nearly $30 million in venture capital. Ignis was sold to Bookham in November, 2003. During his tenure at Intel Capital, he completed several investments worth over $10 million working with many “Tier-1” venture capital firms. Atikem resides in Washington DC, and lived in Tokyo, Japan for 5 years.

Paul is an executive technologist with an impressive range of diverse technical and entrepreneurial accomplishments, typically operating as CTO or Director of R&D.
